Diamond Wand® Micro Dermabrasion

Diamond Wand ® is a revolutionary new skin restoration process, commonly referred to as "the lunch-time peel". The procedure takes less than an hour to perform and most people return to work immediately. Used at exclusive European spas for over ten years, this unique skin rejuvenation technique has recently received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States. The Diamond Wand® procedure uses a highly controlled vacuum and pressure to lightly abrade the skin, with a very finely textured diamond tip that is moved over the surface of the skin. THE PROCEDURE
Diamond Wand ® is performed in a clean environment using a freshly sterilized hand piece for every session. Treatment time varies from 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the severity of the skin problem(s) and the area being treated. Most patients require three to ten treatments. The average is a course of six sessions over a 12 week period, with periodic sessions thereafter to help maintain the benefit. Dr. Binstock will outline a treatment plan that is best for you.

Because the procedure is non-invasive and non-surgical, you may return to your normal activities immediately. You will notice an immediate improvement in the treated area and your skin will be softer, smoother and appear younger looking. These desirable effects will increase over the course of the treatment series.
